Frances Foundation, a dedicated nonprofit organization, recently concluded its Holiday Helpers Program, marking yet another year of spreading joy and hope to underserved children. This heartwarming initiative not only brought smiles to the faces of children but also showcased the power of community support.
The Holiday Helpers Program, a central focus of Frances Foundation, proved to be a resounding success this year. The foundation went above and beyond to provide a wide array of gifts and festive meals to a total of 19 children, with 16 of them residing in the central Kentucky area and twoin Northern Virginia. These children, hailing from underserved communities, experienced an exciting and memorable holiday morning thanks to the generosity of Frances Foundation and its supporters.
In addition to the core Holiday Helper program, the foundation extended its outreach by assisting an additional seven children in central Kentucky with essential gifts, further magnifying its impact within the region. The foundation’s fundraising efforts played a crucial role in making all of this possible. Bake sales held at Crystal’s Diner, which featured delectable baked and canned goods, alongside the unwavering support of individual contributors who provided gifts and monetary donations, contributed significantly to the program’s success. Furthermore, the Long Branch Saloon in New Haven, Kentucky, hosted a chili cookoff that further bolstered the foundation’s efforts to benefit the children.
With a grand total estimated cost of $7,500 for the Holiday Helpers Program, Frances Foundation demonstrated its commitment to making a substantial difference in the lives of underserved youth during the holiday season. Beyond this remarkable program, the foundation expanded its reach by providing back-to-school assistance, ensuring that children in need received essential clothing, shoes, and supplies. Additionally, the foundation made available ten fully stocked backpacks and established a cache of school supplies and backpacks for use as needed by children throughout the year.
Underscoring their dedication to providing opportunities for underserved youth, Frances Foundation also proudly awarded two sports scholarships this year. These scholarships enabled children to participate in school sports, granting them access to experiences they might not have had due to financial constraints.
Looking forward, Frances Foundation has ambitious plans to expand its educational outreach and scholarship programs. The foundation’s commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of underserved children remains unwavering, and it continues to be a beacon of hope and support for those in need.
As another successful year comes to a close, Frances Foundation stands as a shining example of how collective effort and unwavering dedication can bring joy and opportunity to underserved communities. The future holds great promise as the foundation seeks to touch even more lives and create a brighter tomorrow for all.
